Philippe Bouveret

I have always been fascinated by inventions. As a child, I was captivated by electricity and the telephone. And after building a six-meter boat, I considered becoming a naval architect. But when I discovered contemporary art, I decided to become a sculptor. Under the guidance of my mentor, the Belgian sculptor Pol Bury, I started to focus on creating movement in my works, then I added the element of water.

These two characteristics have since become constants in my work, along with atmospheric pressure, heat, expansion and evaporation. Together they bring my sculptures to life, proving that science has its beauty. I promised myself to express nature through simple, poetic and rhythmic forms.

20 years after creating monumental sculptures, I created the "Heart" bottle that everyone can have at home and offer to their loved ones. It is an object that everyone can appropriate and which expresses simple but powerful feelings. It's a joy to be able to create them entirely by hand from my little workshop in Courances, France, and to be able to send them all over the world thanks to my website.
